Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee

NIU has established an Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) to review all research and instructional activities that involve the use of live, vertebrate animals, and to set forth institutional policy governing such activities. The IACUC is composed of NIU faculty, staff, a community representative who has no other affiliation with NIU, and an attending veterinarian.
